AMO in Zerodha Kite means placing orders after the market for the next trading day through Kite. Zerodha provides an After Market Order facility. This facility is for those people who are busy in their work between 9.15 a.m and 3.30 p.m and not able to trade in the live market.

How does Zerodha AMO work?

Let’s say if the client is not able to trade in a live market session and placed an order after the market closed. This order goes in the Zerodha AMO file. On the next trading day, the Zerodha RMS executive submits this file to the market. The order gets executed if the client’s order price and trading prices match.
